Kratom extracts are labeled by their MIT percentage: 30%, 50%, 70%, 75%, 80% and so on. This guide explains what that number means, how our extract lines compare, and how to verify potency with a lab report before you buy.
For adults 21+. Kratom products are not approved by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Extracts are far more concentrated than leaf powder. Read every label carefully and check the laws in your state before ordering.
What “MIT %” means
MIT stands for mitragynine, the most abundant alkaloid in the kratom leaf. An extract’s MIT percentage is the share of the product’s weight that is mitragynine, as measured by a lab.
A simple way to compare: in every gram of product, a 30% MIT extract contains about 300 mg of mitragynine, while a 75% MIT extract contains about 750 mg. Plain leaf powder is usually in the low single digits, around 1–2% mitragynine. That gap is why extracts and leaf should never be treated as interchangeable.
Our extract lineup at a glance
| Product | Labeled MIT | Mitragynine per gram (approx.) | Form |
|---|---|---|---|
| 30% MIT Kratom Extract | 30% | ~300 mg | Powder |
| 50% MIT Kratom Extract | 50% | ~500 mg | Powder |
| 70% MIT Kratom Extract | 70% | ~700 mg | Powder |
| 75% MIT Kratom Extract | 75% | ~750 mg | Powder |
| M80 Kratom Extract Shot | 80% MIT extract | Over 215 mg mitragynine per 12 ml serving (per label) | Liquid shot |
Figures are approximate and based on labeled strength. The lab report for each batch is the authoritative number.
Why compare on a lab report, not just the label
A percentage on a bag is a claim. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) from a third-party lab is the evidence. When comparing extracts, check that:
- The mitragynine result on the COA matches the percentage on the label
- The 7-hydroxymitragynine result is reported, so you know exactly what’s in the product
- Heavy metals and microbial results are within acceptable limits
- The lot number on the COA matches the batch you’re buying

Extract vs. enhanced powder vs. leaf
- Leaf powder: the plant as harvested, dried and milled. See our guide to kratom strains.
- Enhanced powder: leaf powder blended with extract, such as our 10% alkaloid Ultra Enhanced Green Maeng Da.
- Extract: concentrated alkaloids, sold by MIT %.
